The Linnea Foundation pledges support to create the Linnea Rose Garden

Education Gardens in late 2023 will be able to “stop and smell the roses” in the Linnea Rose Garden. The garden is named after Linnea Rose Mills, who as a child participated in Missoula County 4-H and whose life was tragically cut short in 2020 during a SCUBA Diving training in Glacier National park. The Linnea Foundation, a nonprofit organization, was established to help make the world a better place. Linnea’s mother Lisa Mills, a former Missoula County Extension 4-H agent, shares, “the board of the Linnea FForuesnt dGardteion n looks forward to seeing the birds, butterflies and community of people who will drop by enjoy this garden over the years.” Learn more about naming opportunities for the Education Gardens by contacting Jean Jenkins at or 406-370-0441.
