Healthy Acres

Healthy Acres works to engage Missoula County landowners in hands-on, stewardship-based educational seminars focused on raising awareness of small acreage landowners to important land management issues, encouraging landowners to talk with their neighbors, build community relationships surrounding land management issues/strategies, create healthy land and vegetation management plans, and having landowners teach and help others with good land stewardship.

The Missoula County Master Gardener Program is an ever-evolving program to meet the needs of Missoula's gardening/farming-centric community. This course is an eight-week, 16+ hour course taught by local Extension agents, plant professionals, and Master Gardener volunteers.

Private Applicator Training

Anyone planning on purchasing and treating with a restricted-use-pesticide (RUP) must be a current Private Applicator in the state of Montana. RUPs can harm the environment or the applicator when not used as labeled, because of these concerns a license is required to purchase and apply these pesticides.
